Kenneth V. Frauhiger, 42, of Marysville, Kansas, passed away Monday, January 24, 2011 at Cambridge Place in Marysville. A funeral service was held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 29 at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Marysville. The Rev. Donnie Hofman officiated. Carol Wright played the organ while Wayne Kruse sang "On Eagles Wings", "Jesus Loves Me" and "I Am Jesus' Little Lamb". The pallbearers were Dale Germeroth, Ken Meyer, Wayne Warnsing, Peter Kruse, Nicholas Groves and Steve Schelbar. Burial was in the Zion / Mt. Calvary Lutheran Cemetery north of Herkimer. Kenneth was born September 14, 1968, at Marysville, Kansas, son of Vernon and Pamella R. (Fuchs) Frauhiger. He enjoyed listening to the T.V., radio and his niece sing to him. He was preceded in death by his father; and grandparents, Ernest Fuchs, George and Martha Frauhiger. Survivors include his mother, Pamella Frauhiger; sister, Susan Moore and husband, Leland; grandmother, Aurelia Fuchs, all of Marysville; and step grandmother, Sophia Fuchs, Odell, Neb. A memorial fund has been established and will be designated at a later date. Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary.
