Maria Rae Wright

Maria Rae Wright was born Monday, March 7, 2011 at Community Memorial Healthcare in Marysville, Kansas. During her few hours of life, she was baptized by Pastor Donnie Hofman of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. Maria was the daughter of Olivia Wright and Colby Hynek, both of Beattie. A graveside service was held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 12, at the Beattie Union Cemetery. Rev. Donnie Hofman officiated. After the service family and friends gathered at Olivia's home for a noon meal. Survivors include her parents; grandparents, Robin and Laurie Wright, Beattie, Brad and Dawn Hynek, Western Neb.; great-grandparents, Melvin and Arlene Duensing, Marysville, Bob and Doris Wright, Beattie, Larry Haake, Dakin, Neb., Howard and Pauline Hynek, Endicott, Neb.; uncles, Landon Wright and Garrison Wright, Beattie, Ethan Hynek, Hoxie, Kan., Justin Kunc, Western Neb., Mario Jr. and Nick Godinez, Lawrence, Kan.; aunts, Amanda Kunc, Western Neb., Jessica and Sibilla Godinez, Lawrence, Kan.; cousins, Tayley and Laney Kunc, Western Neb. She is also survived by grandparents, Carmen and Mario Godinez and family, Tyrone Thompson and family, all of Lawrence; many great uncles, great aunts and extended family.
