Theresa A. Kienlen, 64, of Manhattan, Kansas, died Monday, July 18, 2011 at Marysville, Kansas. A funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 22, at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville. Father Jim Shaughnessy officiated. Burial was in St. Gregory's Catholic Cemetery, Marysville. Theresa was born September 8, 1946, at Marysville, Kansas, the daughter of Victor and Thelma (Price) Kienlen. She graduated from Marysville High School in 1964. Theresa worked as a CMA at Mary Marshall Manor for twenty years. In 1994, she moved to Manhattan and worked at St. Joseph Village until December 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her son, Tyron Kienlen, Topeka, Kan.; daughter, Julia (Keith) Randolph, Roeland Park, Kan.; three sisters, Donna (Mike) Frazier, Marysville, Rose Simons, Bowling Green, Mo., and Mary Long, Frankfort, Kan.; three brothers, Joseph (Monica) Kienlen, Germany, Paul (Patricia) Kienlen, Virginia, and James (Carol) Kienlen, Florida; and two grandchildren, Keith, Jr. and Elijah Randolph. A memorial fund has been established to Meadowlark Hospice or the American Cancer Society. Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary.
