Sherrie (Griffee) Volk

Sherrie (Griffee) Volk, 57, of Kansas City, Missouri and formerly of Marysville, Kansas, died Thursday, August 11, 2011 at the Truman Medical Center in Kansas City. Visitation will be Monday from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 16, at the Marysville City Cemetery. Sherrie was born on March 16, 1954 at Marysville, the daughter of Byron and Mary (Peeks) Griffee. She graduated from Marysville High School in 1972. Survivors include her brother, Jon Griffee, Marysville; and special friend, Norman Richardson, Kansas City, KS. Memorials will be designated later and can be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary.
