Ella Mae "Ellie" Williams, 94, of Marysville, KS, died Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Cambridge Place in Marysville. A funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 11 at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville. Burial was in the Marysville City Cemetery. Ellie was born December 20, 1917 at Waldo, KS, the daughter of William "Bill" and Jessie (Wilkerson) Lake. On December 30, 1945 she married Royal F. Williams at Marysville. He preceded her in death in November 1989. Ellie was a life-long member of the Presbyterian Church and a homemaker known for her delicious cinnamon rolls and bread. She loved riding horses and in later years while living in Arizona was an avid early morning desert walker. Her family and friends will miss her sweet spirit. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Royal "Skip" Williams; and special friend, Kenneth Myer. Survivors include her sons, Jeffrey L. (Karen) Williams, Albuquerque, NM, and Marc R. (Linda) Williams, Lincoln, NE; daughter-in-law, Linda Williams, Shelly, ID; grandchildren, Kari Williams, Kimberly (Daryl) Leazier, Jason (Tehri) Williams, Melissa (Kit) Walker, Daniel Jensen II, and Landry Austin; ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
