Michele "Shelly" Schroller, 45, of Topeka, KS, died September 16, 2012, while visiting her parents in Marysville. A funeral service was at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, September 20, at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Marysville. Rev. Donnie Hofman officiated. Susan Moore played the organ while Wayne Kruse sang “Amazing Grace” and “Softly and Tenderly.” The congregation sang “On Eagles Wings” and “What a Friend We Have in Jesus.” The pallbearers were Mike Taphorn, David Taphorn, William Nelson, Justin Scheele, David Scheele, Eli Bargmann and Steve Prell. Burial was in the Marysville City Cemetery. Shelly was born June 14, 1967 at Marysville, KS, daughter of Dennis and Diane (Bargmann) Schroller. In 1985, she graduated from Marysville High School. She attended Cloud County Community College and was currently finishing her degree in Marketing with Southeast Community College. Shelly lived in Marysville until moving to Topeka. She enjoyed listening to music, Kansas State Wildcats, watching her favorite NASCAR driver, Clint Bowyer, attending her nieces and nephews activities and looked forward to family get-togethers. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and St. John's Lutheran Church, Topeka. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Glenn and Norma (Nieman) Schroller. Survivors include her parents, Dennis and Diane Schroller, Marysville; grandparents, Leonard & Reita Bargmann, and Mert Keller, all of Marysville; brother, Doug (Mary) Schroller, Hanover, KS; nieces and nephews, Justin, Jessica, Liam, Matthew, Katelynn Jo and Joshua. A memorial fund has been established and will be designated later. Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary.
