Esther E. Ferris

Esther Eileen Ferris, 84, of Frankfort, KS, died October 19, 2012 at the Frankfort Community Care Home. A funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 22, at Padden Funeral Chapel, Frankfort. Rev. Norma Jeane Miller officiated. Jane Sedlacek played the organ and sang “Old Rugged Cross” and “Go In Peace.” The pallbearers were Bob Myers, David Ferris, Dennis Ferris and Don Arnold. Burial was in the Frankfort Cemetery. Esther attended Frankfort Schools. She helped her parents with Bill's Greenhouse growing flowers and arranging for special occasions. In her ealy years she was active in Sunday School at the Frankfort Methodist Church and had perfect attendance for twenty years. She loved to read and enjoyed pets, most of all Chihuahuas and was a World Wide Wrestling fan. She grew up in the Frankfort Community. She lived in Washington state in the 1960's and 70's then returned to Kansas living in the Blue Rapids and Frankfort community. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Howard and Ronald.
