Beverlee Ann Fairchild, 73, of Vermillion, KS, died Sunday, October 28, 2012, at the Frankfort Community Care Home. Visitation was on Wednesday, October 31, noon until 8 p.m., at Padden Funeral Chapel, Frankfort. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. A graveside funeral service was held at 1 p.m., Thursday, November 1, at the Vermillion City Cemetery. Rev. Virgil Warren officiated. The service began with "One Day At A Time." Rev. Warren also played the guitar and sang "Peace In The Valley." The pallbearers were Steven Schwant, Dirk Christie, Jim Fairchild, Bryan Brunk, Dale Reynolds and Andy Runnebaum. Beverlee was born August 10, 1939, at Blaine, KS, daughter of Roy and Freda (Johnson) Ensley. On June 2, 1979, she married Kenneth Fairchild at the Vermillion Christian Church. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Kenny, Vermillion; son, Jeff Richards, Garden City, KS; two daughters, Lori Crite, Las Vegas, NV, and Rexene Brunk, Wamego, KS; two brothers, Ted Ensley and Don Ensley, both of Topeka, KS; two sisters, Linda Opat, Topeka, and Pat Yurk, Palmyra, NE; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Mark Richards; and brother, Gene Ensley. Memorial contributions will be designated later and can be sent in care of Padden Funeral Chapel, Frankfort.
