Pamella R. Frauhgier, 68, of Marysville, KS, died Friday, November 2, 2012 at Mercy Regional Health Center, Manhattan. A funeral service was held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 6, at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Marysville. Rev. Donnie Hofman officiated. Carol Wright played the organ while Wayne Kruse sang “On Eagles Wings.” The congregation sang “Lord Take My Hand” and “Jesus Lead Thou On.” The pallbearers were Roger Riekenberg, Dennis Riekenberg, Dale Riekenberg, Wayne Warnsing, Ken Meyer and Dale Germeroth. Burial was in Zion - Mt. Calvary Lutheran Cemetery, Herkimer, KS. Pamella was born July 11, 1944, at Odell, NE, daughter of Ernest and Aurelia (Riekenberg) Fuchs. She attended school at Odell. On September 17, 1961, she married Vernon Frauhiger at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Odell. He preceded her in death. Pamella worked at the Marysville Sale Barn Café and Carolyn’s Kitchen in Marysville. She enjoyed drawing, painting, sewing, taking pictures, and baking. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vernon; and son, Kenneth. Survivors include her daughter, Susan (Leland) Moore, Marysville; granddaughter, Alyssa (Nicholas) Groves, Marysville; step-mother, Sophia Fuchs, Odell, NE; and sister-in-law, Myrtle (Ed) Germeroth, Hanover, KS. Memorial contributions will be designated later and may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary, Marysville.
