Ruth "Sally" Meusborn

Ruth "Sally" Meusborn, 93, Hanover, died December 25, 2012 at Cambridge Place in Marysville. She was born August 5, 1919, at Grafton, NE, daughter of Fred and Mable (Foltz) Garrett. She attended school at Benedict, NE. On January 11, 1943, she married Otis H. Meusborn at Hanover, KS. He preceded her in death on August 7, 2012. She and Otis operated Leroy's Cafe in Hanover. She also worked at Swift's Packing Plant in Beatrice and in the cafeteria at the Hanover High School. Ruth was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Hanover and the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed fishing, house keeping, and was a very loving woman that could make friends with anyone. Survivors include her son, Mark (Kathy) Meusborn, Houston, TX; sisters, Iona Deirberger, York, NE, and Donne Dee, Topeka, KS; and three grandchildren, Tiffany, Nicole and Jenna.
