Glen Dean Ashley Jr.

Glen Dean Ashley, Jr., 66,of Marysville, KS, died Sunday, January 6, 2013 at his home. A funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 8, at St. Gregory's Catholic Church. Father Jim Shaughnessy officiated. He was born September 7, 1946, at Topeka, KS, son of Glen Dean, Sr., and Betty (Reeb) Ashley. Dean was a U.S. Army Veteran. He worked as a handyman and drove a mail truck. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. On May 3, 1980 he married Susan Throm at St. Gregory's Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Susan Ashley; daughter, April Ashley, both of Marysville, and six siblings. Kinsley Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
