Izak Kane Gressley, 21, of Hanover, KS, died Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Hanover. Visitation was on Sunday from noon until 8:00 p.m. at the Hanover Mortuary in Hanover. A funeral service was held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, January 14, at the United Evangelical Church of Christ in Marysville, KS. Rev. Judy Scott officiated. Tam Gordon played the organ while the congregation sang "Amazing Grace". The pallbearers were Zach Harder, Deven Vicars, Andrew Donovan, Gage Meyn, Chris Roberts and Colton Beckmann. Survivors include his mother, Kathy (Greg) Jueneman, Hanover; father, Darrell (Lori) Gressley, Lincoln, NE; two brothers, David, Lincoln, and Max, Hanover; grandparents, Darrell (Melva) Gressley, Monett, MO, and Gordon (Kathryn) Greenamyre, Alliance, NE; great-grandfather, Melvin Derr, Aurora, MO; and his girl friend, Hannah Dilley, Hanover. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lorraine Greenamyre; and an uncle, Bryon Greenamyre. Izak enjoyed fishing and hunting. He played guitar and banjo and loved music. He graduated from Hanover High School in 2009. Memorials will be designated later and can be sent in care of the Hanover Mortuary in Hanover.
