Dorothy Curell

Dorothy M. Curell, 86, died Monday, May 20, 2013, at the Frankfort Community Care Home where she had been a resident since March 2011. A funeral service was held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 28th, at the Frankfort Community Care Home. Wayne Harper officiated. Burial was in the Frankfort City Cemetery. Dorothy was born April 5th, 1927, daughter of John and Lillian Curell. She spent her childhood years on the family farm near Centralia. Dorothy lived there all of her adult life with her brother Argyl, in the Beattie area. Argyl passed away in February 2011. Dorothy enjoyed playing UNO and bingo, participating in arts and crafts. She had many stuffed animals which she treasured. Dorothy made many friends during her stay at the nursing home and she will be missed by residents, staff, and community members. She is survived by her sisters, Thelma Clark and Margary Curell; and brother, Donald Curell. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Vernon and Argyl; and sister, Arlene.
