Robert "Bob" Feldhausen, 96, of Frankfort, Kansas, died Sunday, June 23, 2013 at the Frankfort Community Care Home. Visitation was Tuesday, June 25, from 3 to 8 p.m., 25 at Padden Funeral Chapel in Frankfort. The family received friends 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service was held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 26, at the First Presbyterian Church in Frankfort. Rev. Marilyn Sweet officiated. Jane Sedlacek played the organ while Amy Harper Jacques sang "Amazing Grace", "On Eagles Wings", "Daddy's Hands" and " When I Get To Where I Am Going." The pallbearers were Dale Seematter, Gary Musil, Jerry Pillard, Todd Lindquist, Paul Cullimore and Rusty Feldhausen. Burial was in the Frankfort City Cemetery. Robert Andrew Feldhausen was born September 25, 1916, at his grandfather Morris's Homestead near Frankfort, the son of Harry and Anna Alvira (McGhie) Feldhausen. He attended Osborne School and graduated from Frankfort High School in 1937. He spent his entire life enjoying farming. Bob married Mary "Maxine" Smith on November 2, 1941 at the Presbyterian Church, Frankfort, KS. He was an active member in the community, a fifty-year member of the Rotary Club in Frankfort, a member of the COOP board and supported the FFA. He was a lifetime member of the Presbyterian Church and of the adult Koinonia class. His hobbies included playing in the neighborhood card club, fishing, deer hunting and spending time with his grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife; a sister, Ida Mae; and brothers, John, Victor (killed in WWII), Harry, Clifford and James. Bob is survived by his daughter, Linda (Jerry) Siecgrist of Auburn, KS; son, Kenny (Nancy) Feldhausen of Frankfort; grandchildren, Katina (Wayne) Gros, Rusty Feldhausen, Amy Reilly, Michelle (Anthony) Allison, Kyle (Kristin) Siecgrist; and great grandchildren, Jarett, Samuel, Hattie, Brynna, Conor, Brigid, Corbin, Cailyn, Ryan and Natalie.
