Anita D. Lohse, 69, Hanover, died March 8, 2008, at the Nebraska Heart Institute, Lincoln. A service was at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Hanover. The Rev. Rodney Fritz officiated. Arlyce Klipp was the organist and the choir sang “What a Friend We Have In Jesus” and the congregation sang “Nearer My God to Thee” and “Asleep in Jesus.” Pallbearers were Ron Klaus, Eric Klaus, Allan Klaus, Terry Bures, Gary Minge and Dennis Dorn. Burial was in the church cemetery. Anita was born on March 13, 1938, near Odell, the daughter of Martin Klaus and Paula Duensing Klaus. She attended Bethlehem Lutheran School and graduated from Odell High School in 1956. On May 14, 1960, she married Myron Lohse at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Beatrice. She was a homemaker and helped operate the family farm. She worked for Swingsters for more than 20 years. She was a member of Trinity Church since 1961. She enjoyed gardening and outdoor activities. Survivors include her husband, Myron; one daughter, Debra Chambliss, McPherson; three sons, Jim Lohse, Beatrice, Robert Lohse, Washington, and Galen Lohse, Hanover; two brothers, Vernon Klaus, Fairbury, and David Klaus, Odell; one sister, Lola Dorn, Beatrice; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Marvin; two sisters, Verla Bures and Elaine Minge; two brothers, Everette and Arlen Klaus.
