Irma A. Ehrhardt, 87, former resident of Marysville and Perry, KS, passed away Thursday, May 01, 2008, at Life Care Center in Seneca, KS. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, May 5, 2008, at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Marysville. The Rev. Donnie Hofman officiated. Carol Wright played the organ and the congregation sang “How Great Thou Art”, “Just a Closer Walk With Thee” and “Rock of Ages”. Pallbearers were grandsons, Dan Koch, Jim Koch, Gary Beckman, Mike Beckman, Todd Beckman and Rodney Beckman. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery, Beatrice, NE. Irma was born October 29, 1920, the daughter of Frederick and Emma (Langner) Holle. On April 15, 1961, she married Walter P. Ehrhardt at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Beatrice, NE. She enjoyed taking coffee breaks with her girlfriends and visiting with friends. Irma was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Marysville. Survivors include four daughters, Carol Koch of Seneca, KS, Joyce Eyth of Beatrice, NE, Janice Schaefer and husband George of Beatrice, NE, and Jolene White of Palm Bay, FL; two sons, Dean “Jock” Beckman and wife Wanda of Overbrook, KS, and Wally Ehrhardt and wife Dalinda of Topeka, KS; sister-in-law, Darlene Holle of Lincoln, NE; twenty-five grandchildren; fifty-four great grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter on January 11, 1999; two sons, John Beckman and Rodney Beckman; and two son-in-laws, Linus Koch and William Eyth. A memorial fund has been established to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Marysville. Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary.
