Dylan Taylor Bruna, 21, of Hanover, KS, died Thursday, November 28, 2013 near Hanover, KS. Visitation was Monday, December 2, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., at the Hanover Mortuary. A rosary service was led by the Knights of Columbus at 7 p.m., Monday, at St. John's Catholic Church in Hanover. Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, December 3, at St. John's Catholic Church. Father David Metz officiated. Janet Fritschi was the organist. The church choir sang “Come to Me”, "How Lovely Is Your Dwelling Place”, “The Supper of the Lord” and “On Eagles Wings”. The Toby Bruna family sang “Angels Among Us”. The pallbearers were Sam Bruna, J.J. Meyer, Rory Nieman, Brady Bruna, Connor Hynek, Chris Roberts, Colton Rupprecht and Austin Steinfort. Burial was in the church cemetery. Dylan was born November 24, 1992, at Hanover, son of Brian and Darice (Ohlde) Bruna. He attended St. John’s Catholic School in Hanover and graduated from Hanover High School in 2011. Dylan then attended North Central Kansas Technical College in Beloit, KS. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working with his family doing farm work. Dylan was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. Survivors include his parents; Brian and Darice Bruna, Hanover; three brothers, Logan Bruna, Jaydan Bruna and Camran Bruna, all of Hanover; and grandmother, Marilynne Ohlde, Linn, KS. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Floyd and Dorothy Bruna, and Norbert Ohlde. A memorial fund has been established and will be designated later. Contributions may be sent in care of the Hanover Mortuary.
