Ronald L. Jeffries

Ronald L. Jeffries, 74, of Blue Rapids, KS, died Friday, January 31, 2014 at Blue Valley Senior Living in Blue Rapids. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 3, at Padden Funeral Chapel in Frankfort. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in the Frankfort City Cemetery. Ronald was born February 15, 1939 at Blaine, KS, son of Walter and Sarah (Earlywine) Jeffries. In 1961, he married Clara Dowd at Frankfort, KS. She preceded him in death on April 5, 2013. He was also preceded in death by his parents; brother, Duane Jeffries; sister, Marjorie Kurtz; and stepson, Earl Chisolm. Survivors include his daughter, Sue Hula, Pawnee City, NE; son, Bobby Jeffries, Marysville, KS; and stepson, Wayne Imel, Home, KS; two sisters, Pat Adams, Frankfort, KS, and Irene Kurtz, Blaine, KS; brother, Dutch Jeffries, Marysville; many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
