August 7, 1965 — February 12, 2014

Craig Moehlenbrink, 48, of Bremen, KS, died in a car accident west of Marysville on Wednesday, February 12, 2014. Visitation was Sunday, February 16, from noon to 5 p.m., at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville.  The family received friends from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Marysville. A funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 17, at Immanuel Lutheran Hermansberg Church north of Bremen.  Rev. Jack Kirk officiated. Kathy Pralle played the organ while the congregation sang “Nearer My God to Thee”, “How Great Thou Art”, “On Eagles Wings” and “Abide With Me”. The pallbearers were Maurice Friedrichs, Robin Friedrichs, Gary Mason, Scott Larkin, Will Kelley and Derek Schmidt. Burial was in the church cemetery. Craig was born August 7, 1965, at Beatrice, NE, son of Howard C. and Darlene L. (Friedrichs) Moehlenbrink.  He was baptized, confirmed and married at Immanuel Lutheran Church.  He attended Immanuel Lutheran School and graduated from Marysville High School in 1983. He farmed the family farm near Bremen.  He also worked at Hoovers Group in Beatrice, Titan Trailers and was a Master Fabricator at Landoll Corporation. His greatest enjoyment was being with and doing things with his son, Reese, and attending his sporting activities.  Craig also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard; and grandparents, Martin and Mabel Friedrichs and Carl and Louise Moehlenbrink. Survivors include his son, Reece Alan Moehlenbrink; mother, Darlene Moehlenbrink, both of Bremen; sister, Patricia (Tom) Orazem, Manhattan, KS; two nieces, Erika and Fiancée, Jason Hughes, Wichita, KS, and Nicole Schmidt, Emporia, KS; and nephew, Derek Schmidt, Manhattan. His family will miss him and the fun and laughter he brought to them.  An Educational Fund for Reece Moehlenbrink will be established.  Contributions can be made to the Educational Fund or the donor's choice and sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary, 1006 Broadway, Marysville, KS  66508.In death Craig has helped others to better health through the organ donation program.
