Lucille P. Tidwell

Lucille P. Tidwell, 85, of Marysville, Kan., died Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Community Memorial Healthcare in Marysville.A graveside funeral service was at 1:30 p.m., Friday, March 14 at the Marysville City Cemetery.Lucille was born to Wallace L. and Gladys (Rakestraw) Libby Sr. on March 11, 1928 at Marysville, KS. She graduated Marysville High School in 1946.She was united in marriage to Charles G. Shortle in 1949 at San Antonio, TX. He preceded her in death.On February 3, 1962, she married Duane Earl Tidwell. He preceded her in death. Lucille was also preceded in death by her parents; and son, Patrick Shortle.Survivors include sons, David Shortle, Santa Fe, NM, Dan Shortle, Marysville, Bill Tidwell, Marysville; sisters, Arlene "Bun" Potter, Marysville, Pat Nork, Marysville; brother, Wallace "Duff" Libby Jr., Marysville; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
