Sarah L. Germeroth, 52, of Hollenberg, Kan., died Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Cambridge Place in Marysville.Visitation was Sunday, April 20, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Hanover Mortuary in Hanover, Kan.  The family received friends from 4 to 6 p.m.A funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 21 at Immanuel Lutheran Church north of Bremen.  Rev. Jack Kirk officiated.  Kathy Pralle played the organ while the congregation sang “Amazing Grace”, “Water Blood and Spirit”, and "How Great Thou Art”.The pallbearers were Max Mizer, Ron Dodd, Phil Berndt, Mick Meier, Tom Coufal and John Jueneman.Burial was in the church cemetery.Sarah was born April 2, 1962 at Fairbury, Neb., daughter of Darrel L. and LaVonne C. (Rettig) Germeroth.In 1980, she graduated from Hanover High School. She graduated from Fairbury Community College in 1982. In 2004, she graduated from Southeast Community College in Beatrice with a degree in Business Adminstration / Accounting.She operated Country Kitchen Classics in Hollenberg and enjoyed selling fresh vegetables, jams, pickled asparagus, salsa and other canned goods. She sold both online and Farmers’ Markets in Hanover, Washington, Marysville and Manhattan.Sarah enjoyed gardening, animals, shopping, cooking and being on the farm.She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.Her father, Darrel Germeroth, preceded her in death.Survivors include her mother, LaVonne Germeroth, Hollenberg; and special friend, Roger Seitz, rural Hanover.A memorial fund has been established and will be designated later.  Contributions may be sent in care of the Hanover Mortuary.
