Stuart M. Gee

Stuart M. Gee, 56, of Home, Kansas, died July 25, 2008, at Watkins, Colorado. A funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 28, 2008, at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville. Jack Hain officiated. Carol O'Neal played the organ. Pallbearers were Steve Gibson, Joe Studer, Leo Schneider, Jim McLaughlin, Kris Schaffert and Melvern Holle. Burial was in the Marysville City Cemetery. Stuart was born January 20, 1952, at Marysville, the son of Harold and Edna (McKee) Gee. He graduated from Summerfield High School in 1970. On December 16, 1972, he married Jeanne Mitchell at Marysville. Stuart was a Custom Harvester and also drove a truck. He loved to work and harvesting was his life. He also enjoyed camping, boating and visiting with people. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Gee. Survivors include his wife, Jeanne of the home; mother, Edna Gee of Marysville; two sons, Frederick Gee of Axtell, KS, and Douglas Gee of Marysville; one daughter, Jeannette Kay Gee McElroy of Summerfield, KS; three brothers, Steve Gee of Rossville, KS, Greg Gee of Pawnee City, NE, and Mike Gee of Home, KS; two sisters, Jennifer Gee of Marysville, and Kristyn Hain of Marysville; and six grandchildren. A memorial fund has been established and will be designated at a later date. Contributions may be sent in care of the funeral home.
