Chris Doyle was born in Kansas City, Missouri on June 29th 1952. Chris & his only older sibling Linda were adopted on June 1st 1956 by Ward & Blanche Doyle. Chris was raised in Kansas City, Kansas where he attended Saint Patrick's grade school & then went on to Washington High School where he graduated in 1970. Chris started working for Union Pacific Railroad when he was 18 years old. He stayed with the railroad as safety department support specialist until he retired in 2008. In addition to his parents, Chris was preceded in death by his wife Vickie Doyle, who passed away on June 26, 2014. Chris passed away at 62 years old on July 28th 2014 at Select Specialty Hospital in Omaha, NE. He is survived by his sister, Linda Nick; brother-in-Law, Joe Nick, of Kansas City, KS; nephews, Joe, Richard and Chris Nick; great nephews, Brody and Hayden Nick; step children, Darcey Brinson, Brenda Carlson, Raymond Carlson, and Rodney Carlson; eleven step grandchildren; and one step great-granddaughter. He will be missed dearly by friends and family. Visitation was Saturday, August 9, from noon to 2 p.m. at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville. A service was held at 2 p.m. followed by burial in St. Gregory's Catholic Cemetery.
