Gary L. Busch

Gary L. Busch, 71, of Marysville, KS, died Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Lincoln, NE. A funeral service was held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, August 12, at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville. Burial was in the Marysville City Cemetery. Harvey and Norma (Maendele) Busch were blessed with a son, Gary, on August 13, 1942 at Jefferson City, MO. He graduated from Onaga High school. Gary was self-employed as an interior/exterior painter, a job he held for thirty years. When he wasn’t working, he liked to go fishing and raise a garden. He was especially interested in his grandchildren and their activities. Gary married Wanita Detimore on May 21, 1972, in Marysville. She survives. Other survivors include his children, Lee James Busch, Anita Busch, Tim Busch, all of Marysville; brothers, Leo Busch, Livingston, MT, Ron Busch, Yorba Linda, CA, Stan Busch, Valley City, ND, Rick Busch, Frankfort; sisters, Linda Nemechek, Waterville, Kathy Busch, Pam Stohs both of Marysville, Terri Luckeroth, Brenda Busch, both of Centralia; and four grandchildren. Gary was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Steve Busch; nephews, Lucas, Josiah; and a niece, Amber. A memorial fund is established and the family will designate later.
