Dorothy Gail Cullimore, 99, retired dry cleaner owner and operator, died Wednesday, October 22, 2014 surrounded by her family. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Friday, October 24, 2014 at the United Methodist Church, Frankfort, KS. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the church. Burial is in Frankfort City Cemetery. She was born on June 3, 1915 in Bigelow, KS to George Gaylord and Zella (Fairchild) Carpenter. Dorothy married Dixon D. Cullimore on March 12, 1930 in Wamego, KS. In addition to her dry cleaning business, she was a pastor’s wife and enjoyed sewing and music. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Dixon; two daughters, Marjorie Thompson, Marceta Gail Johnson; and two brothers, Hughie and Arthur Duane Carpenter. Survivors include her grandchildren, Brenda (Ed) Gouge, Wichita, KS, Stan (Karen) Thompson, Olathe, KS, Stacey (Thaine) Maelzer, Lenexa, Ks, Shane (Tracy) Thompson, Olathe, KS; seven great grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren. A memorial fund has been established to the United Methodist Church, Frankfort. Contributions may be sent to Padden Funeral Chapel, Frankfort or to Cochran Mortuary & Crematory, 1411 N.
