Robb was born to Bob and Dorothy Satterfield on October 11, 1949 in Altoona, KS. He was the eldest of five children. He married his childhood sweetheart, Becky, on October 15, 1966 at the age of seventeen. They were married for forty-eight wonderful years. God blessed them both with two children, the pride of his life, Robby and Regina. They moved to Marysville in 2000. Robb owned his own business, R&B Renovations for many years and loved his work. He took great pride in knowing that when he left the job, it was the best that could be done. At the end of a hard day’s work, he loved nothing more than returning to his home in the country and spending a quiet evening talking about life with Becky. The things that were most important in his life were that he was a loving husband, father, grampy and papa. His biggest smiles and joy came from spending time with his grandchildren, Kassie, Kallie, Chase, Karly, Krista, Cody, Carson and Kaytee. He loved gardening, taking care of his fruit trees and traveling to St. Croix with his wife. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Doug Satterfield. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Becky, his children Robby and Laura Satterfield of Newton, Ia. and Russ and Regina Breshears, of Marysville and eight grandchildren, his brother, Marty of Winfield and his two sisters, Debbie of Dodge City and Shelly of Wichita. A memorial fund has been established and will go to help families of cancer patients with airfare and travel expenses. Contributions may be sent to Kinsley Mortuary care of the Satterfield Family.
