Regina Lee Cothran

Regina (Jeannie) Lee Cothran, 59, Blue Rapids, died Thursday, January 8, 2009 at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka. She was born at Stockton, KS on January 21, 1949 to Linville and Janet (Boyde) Wisecarver. Regina worked as a grocery clerk in her parents store in California before moving to Kansas where she worked in the Blue Rapids grocery store and at Downards in Marysville. She enjoyed taking care of her dogs, gardening, surfing the internet, visiting the ocean in Santa Cruz and especially enjoyed being with her family. On June 27, 1968 she was united in marriage to Verne Cothran at Virginia City, NV. He survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Heather Bogdan of Marysville; two sisters, Peggy Ryans of Stockton, CA, and Carol Saunders of Manteca, CA; one brother, Rick Wisecarver of Stockton, CA; and one grandson, Alexander Bogdan.
