Lavonne H. Bernasek

Lavonne H. Bernasek, 50, of Milford, NE, died Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Bryan East Hospital in Lincoln, NE. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m., Monday, August 24 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Seward, NE. The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to service time. Father Chris Barak will officiate. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 25 at St. John's Catholic Church in Hanover, KS. Visitation will begin one hour prior to service time at the church. Father David Metz will officiate. Burial will be in St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Hanover. Lavonne was born May 15, 1965 at Hanover, KS, to Loren and Julie (Sandman) Wollenberg. In 1983, she graduated from Hanover High School and then attended Cloud County Community College in Concordia, KS. She worked as a Med Aide in nursing homes in Milford, NE, Seward, NE, and Lincoln, NE. She also worked at Sheri’s Grill & Bar in Milford. Her life revolved around her children and she loved spending time with them and attending their activities. Survivors include her children, Nick Bernasek, Beatrice, NE, Karissa Bernasek, Columbus, NE, Brianna Bernasek, Crete, NE, and Tiffany Bernasek, Milford, NE; parents, Loren and Julia Wollenberg, Hanover, KS; siblings, Tina (Aaron) Reith and their children, Taylor and Kendall, Lawrence, KS, Doug Wollenberg, Hanover, and Sheila (Kevin) Fritz and their child, Tyler, Hutchinson, KS; and a granddaughter, Violet.
