Margaret LaDelle Polson, 84, Marysville, died Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Cambridge Place in Marysville. Visitation will be Friday, September 25 from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 26, at the United Methodist Church in Marysville. Rev. Dale Lewis will officiate. Burial will be in the Marysville City Cemetery. Margaret was born on November 10, 1930 at Vliets to Rex and Myrtle (Shirkey) Waxler. She graduated from Blue Rapids High School in 1948. On May 29, 1951, she was united in marriage to Gale Polson at Blue Rapids. They were blessed with six children, Rick, Tim, Gayla, Brent, Brian and Marla. Margaret worked at the Marshall County Courthouse, Motor Vehicle Department until retirement. She then went to work for Showcase Flooring, retiring at the age of 83. Margaret was a member of the United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with family, attending family events, sharing family stories and cooking. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Gale in 1994; and brother-in-law, Lyle Polson. Survivors include children, Rick (Rene) Polson, Blue Rapids, Tim (Kellene) Polson, Fairbury, NE, Gayla (Pat) Hogan, Brent (Sherri) Polson, Brian Polson, all of Marysville, Marla (Ed) Porting, of Axtell; sister-in-law, Margaret A. Polson, Beattie; eleven grandchildren, Kaysha Cooper, Bridgette Polson, Anthony Polson, Elizabeth Polson, Cari Nester, Emily Hogan, Luke Polson, Amanda Cohorst, Bethany Porting, Nathan Porting, Jonah Porting; and seven great grandchildren, nieces and nephew. A memorial fund is established in her name and will be designated by the family later. Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary.
