Craig A. Holle, 22, of Herkimer, KS, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2009. A funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 29 at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Marysville. The Rev. Donnie Hofman officiated. The sermon text was Romans 8:28-39. Visitation was Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Kinsley Mortuary where the family received friends between 6 and 8 p.m. Carol Wright played the organ while the congregation sang “God Loves Me Dearly”, “I Am Trusting You, Lord Jesus”, “It Is Well With My Soul”, "Jesus Loves Me" and “My Hope is Built on Nothing Less”. The pallbearers were Dan Kopp, Bryant Frerking, Clint Fritschi, Ryan Friedrichs, Jay Frerking, Jeff Juenemann, Brandon Benkendorf, Ryan O’Neil and Shane Rengstorf. Burial was in the Zion - Mt. Calvary Cemetery, north of Herkimer. Craig was born January 3, 1987 in Marysville, the son of Kim A. and Colleen R. (Rengstorf) Holle. He attended Good Shepherd Lutheran School in Marysville and graduated from Marysville High School in 2005. He then attended Southeast Community College at Milford, NE, where he studied Automotive Technology. Growing up he worked with his family on their farm and during high school worked at Mike’s OK Tire in Marysville. After college he worked at Truck Repair Plus in Marysville and Midwest Products in Hanover. He was currently farming and raising cattle with his father. Craig was a hard worker and enjoyed helping friends and neighbors fix their vehicles. He also enjoyed rebuilding 350 Chevy motors, hunting, fishing, spending time outdoors and hanging out with his friends. Survivors include his parents; two sisters, Stacy and Sara Holle; grandparents, Merle and Mary Ann Holle of Marysville, and Melvin and Lowine Rengstorf of Bremen, KS. A memorial fund has been established and will be designated at a later date. Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary.
