Suzanne M. Appel

Suzanne M. Appel, 71, Marysville, died Monday, April 4, 2016 at Cambridge Place in Marysville. Visitation was Wednesday, April 6 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Kinsley Mortuary. A rosary service was held at 7 p.m., Wednesday, April 6 at St. Gregory’s Catholic Church, Marysville. Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, April 7 at St. Gregory’s Catholic Church. Father Jim Shaughnessy officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. Suzanne was born to Arthur and Helene (Koppes) Osborne on July 17, 1944 at Blue Springs, NE. She graduated from Marysville High School in 1962. She attended Southeast Community College and earned her LPN degree with a 4.0 gpa. On September 5, 1962, Suzanne married Mike Troshynski. On August 1 1974, she was united in marriage to Harley Appel. Suzanne worked for the Physician Clinic in Wymore, NE. Survivors include her mother, Helene Glynn, Marysville, daughters, Jill (Kevin) Murphy, Stuart, NE, Terri Lewis, Hutchinson, Sheri (Rick) Baugh, Appache Junction, AZ, Kelli (Eric) Stichternath, Marysville, Jodi (Kevin) O’Neil, Beattie; sons, Steve (Rogene) Appel, Larned, Kent Appel, Hutchinson; brother, Richard Osborne, Grand Island, NE; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. Preceding her in death was her father; and husband, Harley on June 6, 2002. A memorial fund is established and will be designated by the family later.
