Carla Christina Scheller

Carla Christina Scheller, 70, Marysville, KS, died Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Community Memorial Healthcare in Marysville. Visitation is Tuesday, August 9, from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. at Kinsley Mortuary, Marysville. Graveside funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, August 10 at the Marysville City Cemetery, Marysville. Carla was born on September 4, 1945 to Carl and Bertha (Koplin) Ott at Beatrice, NE. She graduated from Marysville High School in 1963. On September 12, 1964, she married Ronnie Scheller. Carla was a welder for Landoll’s over 30 years. She enjoyed motorcycles, car shows, Studebakers and cats. Carla was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the Legion Riders, Studebaker Drivers Club: Kaw Valley Chapter, Husker Chapter and Mid-Missouri Chapter and a member of Harley Owners Group: Flint Hills Chapter and Frontier Chapter. She was a member of St. Gregory’s Catholic Church. Her other enjoyment was her family, daughters and grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; and  son, Kevin in June 1988. Survivors include her husband, Ronnie; daughters, Ronda (Mike) Rock, Doral, FL, and Stacy (Jason) Wood, Bennett, NE; and grandchildren, Kode Pacha, James Rock, Paige Langfeldt, Michael Langfeldt, Tori Magilton, and Hailey Jo Wood; and great-grandsons, Oliver, Charlie and Zackary. A memorial fund has been established to the Pony Express Vet Clinic for their Pet Adoption Program.  Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary, Marysville.
