Douglas E. Totten, 82, Marysville, died Friday, October 7, 2016 at the Community Memorial Healthcare in Marysville.
Visitation was Monday, October 10, from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. at Kinsley Mortuary. The family will received friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
A funeral service was held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, October 11 at the Evangelical United Church of Christ in Marysville.
Burial was in the Marysville City Cemetery.
Douglas was born at Marysville on July 19, 1934, to Uhl and Vera (Warren) Totten. He graduated Marysville High School and served with the U.S. Army in Germany.
On July 25, 1954, Doug was united in marriage to Phyllis Moehlenstedt at Marysville. He was a lifelong farmer and a member of the Masons.
Preceding him in death was his parents; sister, Lorene McCarthy; and an infant great grandson.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis; son, David Totten, Marysville; daughter, Diane Offutt, Olathe; four grandchildren, Derek, Dana, Hunter, and Heather; and two great grandchildren.
