Kayne Michael (Schotte) Stoute, 11, of Odell, NE, together with his dad, Bill, joined their Savior near Waterville on October 28, 2016, in a farming accident. Visitation was Tuesday, November 1, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville. The family received friends from 5 to 7 p.m. A funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 2, at Immanuel (Hermansberg) Lutheran north of Bremen, KS. Rev. Aaron T. Fenker, Sr., officiated. Kathy Pralle was the organist. Music included "Jealous of the Angels”, “Jesus Loves Me”, “Be Still My Soul”, “What a Friend”, and “I’m But a Stranger Here”. The pallbearers were Chris Stohs, Robert Stohs, Scott Schotte, Liam Schroller, Ryan Schotte, Shane Rengstorf, and Justin Schroller. The honorary pallbearers were Cody Rengstorf, Kolton Schotte, Kyle Schotte, and Logan Waggy. Burial was in the church cemetery. Kayne was born October 29, 2004 at Marysville, KS. He was baptized on March 19, 2006, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Hanover. On June 7, 2008 when his mother, Jennifer, married Bill Schotte, he was welcomed as a son to Bill. He faithfully attended church and Sunday School. He attended six grade at Good Shepherd Lutheran School in Marysville. Kayne just started taking band class playing in percussions and he loved it. He played summer league baseball, soccer, basketball, and flag football. He loved target practice with his BB gun, playing army, playing Legos, and playing farm. He enjoyed his video games and riding his bike. He was a true animal lover; Sissy his cat, and Sammy and Jo, his dogs, and any other strays that showed up at the farm. He loved working and helping his Dad on the farm. He loved playing nerf guns with his cousins, Kayne loved his family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; James and Margaret “Peggy” Buck; and his uncle, Michael Buck. Survivors include his mother, Jennifer Schotte; father, Edward Stoute; grandparents, Sally Buck, Oshkosh, WI, Rich and Ruth Schotte, Bremen, Debra Stoute, Ogden, KS, and Ed Becker, Pennsylvania; uncles and aunts, Jim Buck, Mary Schroller, Scott Buck, Daniel (Christina) Buck, Amy (Todd) Rengstorf, and Kevin (Susan) Schotte; 23 cousins; and many extended family members and friends. A memorial fund has been established and will be designated later. Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary.
