Lee J. Busch, 43, of Marysville, KS, died Wednesday, November 16, 2016 in an auto accident near Marysville. Visitation was Monday, November 21, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Kinsley Mortuary. The family received friends from 5 to 7 p.m. A funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 22, at the Marysville Berean Church. Joel Barber officiated. Kathleen Fincham played the piano while the congregation sang “Amazing Grace” and “I’ll Fly Away”. The pallbearers were Monte Busch, Uriah Fairchild, Justin Esslinger, Darren Nemechek, and Tristan Detimore. Burial was in the Marysville City Cemetery. Lee was born October 20, 1973 at Marysville, son of Gary L. and Wanita (Detimore) Busch. He attended school at Marysville. Lee worked various jobs and always enjoyed working alongside his family in the family painting business. He enjoyed taking long walks outdoors, watching animals, fishing, and gardening. He loved attending the Marysville Berean Church where he was baptized. Lee went with other members of the Marysville Berean Church to Haiti where they helped their sister church and took part in a medical clinic. He was preceded in death by his father, Gary. Survivors include his mother, Wanita; sister, Anita Busch; brother, Tim Busch; and several nieces, all of Marysville. A memorial fund has been established in his name.
