Eli S. Schrock of 2496 Navajo Road, Frankfort, KS, died at the Nemaha Valley Community Hospital, Seneca, KS, on December 2, 2016. He was born on July 8, 1933 to Sam and Lydia Schrock at Haven, KS. Eli joined the Old Order Amish Church in his youth. He was a retired bishop. On November 12, 1953, he married Wilma Miller. She survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Kathleen Kay Yoder (Roman), Hutchinson, KS; 4 sons, Gene (Eileen Kaye Miller) Schrock, Lester Schrock, both of Haven, KS, Samuel (Ruth Ann Klein) Schrock, Bloomfield, IA, Jerry (Verna Marie Keim) Schrock, Frankfort, KS; 21 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Leroy (Sara Garver), Clarita, OK; 4 sisters, Alma Bontrager, Haven, KS, Sara Miller (Floyd), Jamesport, MO, Anna Mae Knepp, Chouteau, OK, and Wilma Keim (Atlee), Haven, KS; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 sister, Mary Bontrager; 3 brothers-in-law, Harry Bontrager, Jonas Bontrager, and David Knepp. Funeral will be Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at the Schrock home. Visitation will also be at the Schrock home on Sunday, December 4 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., and Monday, December 5 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. The public is invited. Kindly please omit flowers.
