Gary Lee Malesker 61, of Hanover died August 16, 2009 at K.U. Medical Center in Kansas City. A Service was at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 4 at his home in Hanover. Rev. Jill Rettig officiated. There was also a service in Hastings. Gary Malesker was born on April 20, 1948, at Winona, Mn., the son of Edward John and Violet Isabel Buege Malesker. He graduated from Blue Hill, Ne. High School in 1966. He was a service station laborer and machininst. He was a member of the Lutheran church. He is survived by his companion Deb Smith of Hanover; two sons, Shawn Malesker of Hastings, Brandon Malesker of Alabama; step son, Randon Smith of Kingman, Kansas; brothers, Darryl of Omaha, Rodger, Oxford, Ne, Dennis, Hastings, Ne, Dale, Clay Center, Ks, Robert,Pauline, Ne, Steve Smith, Ellis, and David Peterson, Pleasant Dale, Ne.;sisters, Kathy Haack, Hastings, Ne.,Maralee Boutin, Omaha, Ne.; and five grandchildren.
