Daniel Francis Studer

Daniel Francis Studer, age 66 of Frankfort, Kansas died the 16th day of March, 2017 at his home. He was born on January 24, 1951 at Axtell, Kansas, the son of Theodore and Margaret (Meier) Studer.  Dan married Vic Tryon and they had three children: Maggi Kennedy (Jay), Frankfort; Brandi Studer, New Orleans; Emili Stoll (Brad), Lawrence.  He later married Vicki Wheeler of Randolph.    Dan farmed north of Frankfort for over forty years.  He retired in December 2016. He loved to travel with his wife and was always available for a visit in his shop.  He was known for his generosity and his love for his children, grandchildren and close friends. Dan is survived by his three daughters, his wife, Vicki, and three step children: Nicole Wheeler of Holton, Brandi Hansen (Todd), Manhattan; Josh Wheeler (Kimberly), Meriden and 15 grandchildren.  He is also survived by his brother Greg Studer (Maureen) Dallas, TX.    He was preceded in death by one brother, John Studer and one sister Peggy Sumner, and his parents.   An informal gathering for a Celebration of Dan’s Life will take place at his home in rural Frankfort on March 25, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.   A private burial is being planned. A memorial will be designated later and contributions may be left in the care of Padden Funeral Home, Frankfort, Kansas.
