Shirley B. Schooler

Shirley Schooler, 75, died Sunday, August 30 at the Frankfort Care Home, Frankfort. A funeral service was held 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 11 at the Padden Funeral Chapel in Frankfort. The Rev. James Shaughnessy officiated. Organist was Moogie Roeder. Burial was in Mt Calvary Cemetery, Frankfort. Pallbearers were Jorey Schooler, Adam Schooler, Kevin Slifer, Alec Slifer, Shawn Roeder, Chris Shubkagel, Eric Shubkagel, Kevin Young and Brian Young. Shirley was born on December 13, 1933 at Beatrice to Edward and Ethel Fielder Brinton. She married James Schooler in 1952. They later divorced. Shirley was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, walking and traveling. Shirley is survived by daughters, Nancy Jackson of Hanover, Mary Shubkagel and husband Steve of Frankfort; sons, Mike Schooler and wife Janet of Riley, Mark Schooler and wife Dorothy of Blaine, Willie Schooler of Frankfort; 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Delores Mentgen and brother Richard Brinton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Frankfort Care Home.
