Beverly Morley, 68, died Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Bergan Mercy Medical Center in Omaha, NE. A funeral service was held at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 13 at the Afton Lutheran Church south of Bremen, KS. Donald Dodds officiated. Susan Moore was organist and the congregation sang "In the Garden," "Amazing Grace" and "Beautiful Savior." Visitation was one hour prior to the service at the church. Pallbearers were Tom Hill, Sam Jones, Beau Blanke, Curt Blanke, Aiden Borhart and Jeff Hasenauer. Burial was in the Afton Cemetery. Beverly was born September 19, 1948, at Keokuk, IA, to Floyd and Maxine (Mallon) Bullard. She graduated from Omaha South High School. Beverly assembled and inspected communication equipment for Western Electric, AT&T, Lucent Technologies, Avaya, and Comscope. She retired in 2005. Beverly liked hunting deer and turkey and going deep sea fishing. She especially enjoyed her times with her grandchildren and occasionally having a good glass of wine. She loved attending the “little church in the country”. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Michael. Survivors include her fiancé, Larry Blanke, Bremen; children, Cheryl (Jeff Hasenauer) Borhart, Brooke Blanke, and Beau (Natalie) Blanke; siblings, Stan (Karen) Bullard, Russ (Eilleen) Bullard, and Mary (Bob) Byrnes; grandchildren, Anna Kingsbury, Katelin Kingsbury, Aiden Borhart, Evin Blanke, and Barrett Blanke; and several nieces and nephews.
