Donna M. Breeding, 82, of Marysville, KS, died Saturday, September 12, 2009 at Cambridge Place in Marysville. A funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 16, at Memorial Presbyterian Church in Marysville. Rev. Marilyn Wullschleger officiated. The organist, Carol O'Neal, played "The Lord's Prayer" and "Ave Maria" while Pat Breeding sang. Burial was in the Marysville City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jeaneal Breeding, Seth Breeding, Bill Ackerman, Steve Bussmann, Alex Breeding, Tim Ackerman, Jeff Bussmann, Will Breeding and Todd Ackerman. Donna was born July 4, 1927, at Clay Center, KS, the daughter of George Newton and Delta Pearl (Darner) Isaac. She graduated from Omaha South High School in 1945. After graduating she drove a truck for her father's business, Isaac Transfer. Later she worked as a telephone operator, City Sewing, Mode O'Day and at the Marysville Sale Barn. On August 25, 1946 she married Raleigh N. Breeding at the Memorial Presbyterian Church. Donna was a Charter Member of Preceptor Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi, Charter Member of Women of the Moose, American Legion Auxiliary, and a member of Memorial Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed playing cards, golf, bowling, reading and her grandchildren. Survivors include three daughters, Connie Jean Ackerman, Colleen Kay Bussmann, both of Marysville, KS, and Sue Ellen Breeding of Plattsmouth, NE; one son, David Neal Breeding of Marysville; one sister, Jeannine Smith and husband Gerald P. of Topeka, KS; nine grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Raleigh N. Breeding on March 2, 2003. A memorial fund has been established and will be designated by the family at a later date.
