Patricia J. Nork

Patricia Nork, 87, of Marysville, KS, died June 2, 2017 at Marysville. Visitation was Tuesday, June 6, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Kinsley Mortuary. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. A private family funeral service was held Wednesday, June 7. Rev. Jerry Zanker officiated. The pallbearers were Elise Slupianek, Allyson and Daryl Wetter, Whitney Milner and Tyler Van Winkle, and Brandon Milner and Jennifer Baalmann. Burial was in the Marysville City Cemetery. Pat was born May 15, 1930, in Marysville, to Wallace and Gladys Libby. In 1948, she graduated from Marysville High School. On January 18, 1950, she married Robert K. Nork. They were married for 67 years. She was an avid golfer and loved camping, going on rides, and being with her family. Over her lifetime she worked many places as a bookkeeper, secretary, and an abstractor. Some of which were: Marshall County Abstract Company, Robert Galloway Law Office, and Kansas Power and Light. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Corky Tidwell. Survivors include her husband, Robert; two daughters, Joni (Ron) Milner and Buff (Warren) Slupianek, all of Marysville; four grandchildren, Brandon (and fiancé, Jennifer Baalmann) Milner, Whitney Milner (Tyler VanWinkle), Allyson (Daryl) Wetter, and Elise Slupianek; two great-grandchildren, Perry and Ryland Wetter; her Lhasa Apso baby dog, Mikey; sister, Bun Potter; and brother, Duff Libby. A memorial fund has been established and will be designated later. Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary.
