Lulu V. Grauer, 85, Marysville, died Monday, September 14, 2009, at Cambridge Place in Marysville. A funeral service was held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, September 17, at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Marysville. The Rev. Donnie Hofman officiated. Carol Wright played the organ while the congregation sang “Abide With Me”, “Jesus Savior Pilot Me” and “What a Friend We Have in Jesus”. Pallbearers were Marvin Pralle, Clay Pralle, Melvyn Miller, Samuel Fishburn, Erwin Fink and Daryl Fink. Burial was in the Marysville City Cemetery. Lulu was born October 29, 1923, at Bremen to Otto and Louise (Knabe) Linkugel. She lived in Herkimer with her mother and then moved to Marysville. Her occupation was housecleaning. On August 8, 1970 she married Wallace Grauer. He preceded her in death on February 1, 1996. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Ruth Pralle; and three brothers, Edgar, Orvin and Norbert Linkugel. Survivors include two brothers, Wilmer Linkugel of Lawrence, KS, and Harold Linkugel of Bremen, KS. A memorial fund has been established and will be designated later by the family.
