Larry J. Ditsworth

Larry J. Ditsworth, 71, of Beattie, KS, died August 21, 2017, at Stormont Vail in Topeka, KS. Visitation and a family gathering will be Wednesday, September 6, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Larry was born April 6, 1946 at Kansas City, Kansas. He was adopted as an infant by Ted and Mildred Ditsworth and raised in the Kansas City area. He worked at Keystone Automotive in Kansas City, Kansas during the 70’s. He later moved to the Denver, CO area where he opened the “Parts Shoppe”. After that he moved to California, where he opened, “Car Parts Distributors”. Larry enjoyed hunting, socializing, horses and mules. He enjoyed visiting and talking with people, he never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his companion, Maxine O’Leary, Beattie; five children, Traci Wolf, Kearney, MO, Suzanne Keiderling, of Florida, Aaron Ditsworth, of Colorado, Jacqueline Ditsworth, Aurora, CO, and Brian Ditsworth, Denver, CO; sister, Judy Donlan, Eudora; and nine grandchildren.
