Anellen M. Reiter, 100, of Marysville, KS, died October 12, 2017 at Cambridge Place in Marysville. Visitation was Monday, October 16, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Kinsley Mortuary. A rosary service was held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 17 at St. Gregory's Catholic Church. A funeral mass began at 10:30 a.m. Father Nathan Haverland officiated. Rosmary Forst was organist and the congregation sang “How Great Thou Art,” “Amazing Grace” and “Prayer of St. Francis.” The pallbearers were Robert Cohorst, Keith Mohan, Randy Jones, Jason Emerson, Mike Morgan, and Jess Schoenberger. Burial was in St. Gregory's Catholic Cemetery. Anellen was born September 14, 1917 at Marysville, KS, daughter of George and Sylvesta "Vesta" (Farrell) Reiter. She enjoyed reading, walking and puzzles. Anellen was a member of Mater Dei Catholic Church in Topeka before returning to Marysville and St. Gregory's Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Merlin Reiter; and sisters, Blanche Cohorst and Marcella Cohorst. Survivors include nieces and nephews.
