Kenny R. Licht, 78, of Marysville, Kan., died Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Bryan East in Lincoln, Neb. Visitation will be Monday, February 12, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville. The family will receive 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, February 13 at Kinsley Mortuary. Burial will be in the Marysville City Cemetery. Kenny was born December 30, 1939 near Bremen, Kan., to Rudolph and Laura (Duensing) Licht. He was married to Julie Sullano for 53 years. He joined the army and served in Korea. Kenny worked a number of jobs in his lifetime including Lincoln Steele, Gooch Mills, City of Hamilton Mo., Bremen Insurance, Appraiser helping Marshall County and Washington County, Oak Tree Inn in Marysville. Kenny liked to raise mini horses. Survivors include his wife, Julie, Marysville; sons, Kenny (Samantha), Beatrice, Neb., and Curtis of Kansas City, Kan.; sister, Laurinda Blumer, Marysville; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Juanita (Delmo) Fragel. A memorial fund is established and will be designated later. Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary.
