Everett Sipple, 69, of Home, KS, died Monday, January 11, 2010 at the Frankfort Community Care Home. A funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 14, at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville. Rev. Marilyn Wullschleger officiated. Jane Sedlacek played the organ and sang "In the Garden". The pallbearers were Richard Kabriel, Greg Haas, Marcus Haas, Richard Ham, Mark Schreiber and Kenny Feldhausen. The honorary pallbearers were Wayne Link, Mickey McIntyre, Melvin Seematter and Willie Armstrong. Burial was in the Marysville City Cemetery. Everett was born August 12, 1940 at Marysville, the son of Everett Sr., and Cora (Ferris) Sipple. He graduated from Marysville High School in 1958 and then went to work as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service. He carried mail in Marysville for 36 1/2 years before retiring. He then worked for Travelute Trailers and Lindeen Brothers. Everett was a member of Jaycees and National Association of Letter Carriers. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, the Rocky Mountains, working on cars and helping coach his daughters softball teams. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife Marilyn; four daughters, Pam Dobrovolny and husband Dallas of Waterville, KS, Brenda Smith and husband Ed of Rocklin, CA, Debra Brandon and husband Lester of Wichita, KS, and Tamara Adams and husband Tyler of Gardner, KS; two sisters, Shirley Wynn of Berthoud, CO, and Deanna Borgerding and husband Paul of Anderson, IL; and eight grandchildren. A memorial fund has been established and will be designated at a later date. Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary.
