Edward H. Forbes, Jr.

Edwin H. Forbes, 58, Marysville, died Saturday, January 16, 2010, at Manhattan. A service will be at 10 a.m., Friday, January 22 at Kinsley Mortuary. The Rev. Jerry Zanker will officiate. Burial will be private. Edwin Forbes was born December 19, 1951, at Lincoln, the son of Edwin Henry and Katherine Brouhard Forbes. He married Joleta McAtee. She preceded him in death. He worked for Landoll Corp. for five years, the Topeka Capital Journal for 15 years and then was a nurse’s aide for seven years before becoming disabled. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking. Survivors include his son, Robert Forbes, and daughter, Katherine Forbes, both of Marysville. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
