Marjorie M. McAdams

Marjorie M. McAdams, 78 of Maryville, Missouri, passed away Monday, February 1, 2010 at the Village Care Center in Maryville. A funeral Services was held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, February 4, at the United Methodist Church in Frankfort. The Rev. Norma Jean Miller officiated. Janet Plegge played the organ. Burial was in the Frankfort City Cemetery. Marjorie was born near Winifred, KS, on March 10, 1931, daughter of Morse and Elsie (Rakestraw) Feldhausen. She graduated from Frankfort High School and worked in the retail and restaurant business but mostly stayed at home to raise her family. On July 8, 1948, she married Kenneth McAdams. He survives of Maryville, Missouri. Other survivors include three sons, Donald McAdams and wife Mary Jo of Marysville, Steve McAdams and wife Mary Ann of Ponca, Arkansas, John McAdams and wife Susie of Kansas City; two sisters, Doris Teagarden of Marysville, Verla Beiber of Waterloo, IA; six grandchildren, three step grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and ten step great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, David; and five brothers, Arthur, Edward, Marion, Art and Jack Feldhausen. A memorial fund has been established and will be designated at a later date.
