Billy Joe Pierce

Billy Joe Pierce, 79, Marysville, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2010 at his home. Funeral services were private. Billy Joe was born July 18, 1930 at Cumberland, Wyoming, son of William & Stella (Cook) Pierce. On July 5, 1992, he married Sherry Brown at Mountain View, Wyoming. They lived in Marysville since March 2009. He owned and operated Pierce Electric. He served in the Korean War. He was a member of the Morman Church. Survivors include his wife, Sherry Pierce of Marysville; brothers, Ralph Pierce of Evanston, Wyo., Roger Pierce of Wyo.; son, Gene Pierce of Wyo.; four daughters, Wendy Ramsey and Vicky Atol, both of North Dakota, Sandy Hundled of Arizona, and Darlene Pichico of Wyo.; two nieces, Missy Boogart and Mandy Evenson of Marysville; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Veda Parson and Bonnie Steed; brothers, Chet, John Pierce, Donny Pierce and Russell Pierce. Kinsley Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
